how do you connect to your spirit?

Having a connection with spirit is something we often hear in the wide world of wellness. I find that being spiritual is different for every person and we all have different ways of connecting to it. Sometimes people think of spiritually as religion or vise versa. I like to think of religion as a vehicle to connect to spirit. It's a method that works for a lot of humans but it's not always for everyone. So..if you're not religious how do you connect to spirit? Meditation is an effective way to delve into the depths of your mind and soul. It relaxes and rejuvenates your whole instrument and gets you aligned with your self. Exercise is an amazing way to connect to your spirit. The runners high is real and can release stress so you can create room to find the inner you. Many people use the gym or exercise to connect within. Time in nature. Being in nature can give people a real reboot when trying to realign within. Unplugging from phones and the digital world to spend time with the natural beauties of the earth can create an inner peace. BUT what IS spirit? And Where is my spirit anyway? For me, my spirit is all of me. It IS me. It's not located in a special compartment in my body because it all that I am. So when I am fully aligned with my body and mind.. I am connected to my spirit. It's always there but I believe we have to do a little (or a lot) of leg work to stay fully in tune. The last layer.. is that when we are at one with spirit, we are then connected to those all around us. This gives us the freedom to empathize, understand with compassion and give those in our lives our full attention. I believe connecting to others through our spirit can revitalize us in ways we can't fully understand but can FEEL within. Having these connections allow us to have more meaningful lives and relationships. I challenge you discover your own path to your spirit. I promise you won't regret it.
